Bateman's Barn was
the first & only venue
we looked around.

We just knew it was
right for us.  

A beautiful barn
with a marquee attached
set in the gorgeous Suffolk countryside.

The day before the wedding,
Katy stayed in
South Elmham Hall
with her bridesmaids.

Her wedding day started with
a delicious, hearty
cooked breakfast
in the barn. 

Simon's day started at a
swanky barbers.
 

Everything fitted perfectly.

The bouquets were beautiful
when they arrived.

The wedding was
in sight at last…

And the Bride
was looking
beautiful

The Groom & the guests
almost got stuck
in the football traffic...

Time to go?

A short walk
down the garden path
from South Elmham Hall
to the medieval barn.

Time for the
 serious stuff...

For our wedding breakfast
we opted for an afternoon tea
which was so delicious

After dark,
the barn made a
great place for dancing

made momentarily
modern
& coloured beautiful

Wood-fired pizza
was enjoyed
by the evening guests

And a beautiful sunset
over ancient countryside -
just for the two of us

Mary & Ollie
did things a little differently
on their day… 

A quick drink at the bar
was followed by a
walk to the Minster.

Returning to the island,
guests enjoyed
a canapé or two
with a game of croquet,
jenga or even cricket.
