We originally booked in 2019 for 2020 but that was not to be - Covid lock downs, date and time changes, supplier swaps and plenty of thinking 'this is never going to happen' - then finally and with much excitement we had our wedding at the lovely Batemans Barn.

  
From the initial meeting, way back in 2019 to the actual day in 2022  Nicole and John could not have been more fantastic - bearing in mind what was going on across the world with the pandemic - they were always postive and had solution at hand for every twist and turn - nothing was to much trouble and they where always supportive and understanding.

The whole team at Batemans were very helpful and went out of there way to make sure our big day went ahead perfectly. The venue, house and grounds speak for themselves and it is absolutely stunning. Anyone wanting to get married at this venue will be very happy, we know we made the right choice.

I absolutely loved shooting a wedding here. The grounds are stunning and really are a photographers dream. I love that there is an option for an indoor and outdoor ceremony to suit my couples and to have such a beautiful barn for plan B if the weather lets you down - is amazing.

The hosts are so insanely helpful towards everyone. I have never seen a venue work so hard in the background so that the whole day looked effortless. And I adore their ethos of being eco friendly and inclusive. I am very excited to be back with a new couple next year!
