They don’t joke when they tell you it will be the best day of your life! We felt a part of the family the moment we arrived at Batemans Barn and their beautiful farm wedding venue! 

On the 18th May 2019 I married my best friend. They don’t joke when they tell you it will be the best day of your life! Bateman's barn was no small part of the reason.

It was so perfect. Nicole, her husband - who looks after the bar and drinks service throughout the day - and their team were incredible for the entire planning process. We visited whenever we needed to ask questions, to see the venue, show friends, family and our suppliers and to meet with Nicole to plan our day. 

Nicole was a reassuring presence throughout the wedding day, making sure all ran smoothly and even after it, we didn't have to lift a finger! They were so hospitable and welcoming, we felt a part of the family the moment we stepped onto the farm!

They offered to help in as many ways as they possibly could in the planning and stayed up into the early hours of the wedding day to clean up all the decorations and box them up for us, so they were ready to collect the next day.

My family stayed in South Elmham Hall (by the barn) and Nicole cooked them breakfast the next morning which was wonderful!

The venue is stunning with lots of unique spaces from the ruined gatehouse to those big Suffolk skies framed by ancient trees in the Barn's beautiful gardens and offers so many opportunities for incredible pictures.

My day couldn’t have been more perfect.

And I have Bateman's Barn, Nicole and John and their lovely team to thank for it!
