Love at first sight!! My now husband and I had been to see quite a few different barn style wedding venues but Batemans Barn was the only one where we could actually see ourselves getting married.  

Bateman’s Barn was everything we were looking for and just a little bit more.  We loved that we had the freedom to do pretty much as we wished with the decorations, choice of caterers and the timetable for the whole day.

Every idea we had in our minds - Nicole was happy to help make it work.

Even when I made a last minute ivy chandelier on the Thursday before the wedding, she was more then happy to find the perfect spot and get it in place. 

Our cake was a big challenge as it was a hanging chandelier cake which needed safe fixings and some clever hidden support for it to work.

Nicole worked closely with my parents to find the best solution, meeting with them separately, so the cake would be a surprise for me and Rob on the day. It took a few visits and some careful planning to get right.

We were grateful for their years of experience in running unique weddings as we had a bit of disaster just a week before the big day - our caterer unexpectedly dropped out.

Nicole and John did everything in there power to help sort it out, working closely with us through various solutions. Thankfully, in the end some friends of our family stepped in and with a bit of help from Nicole and John, what could have been highly stressfull situation was soon sorted.

On our wedding day everything went so smoothly, with Nicole and her team seamlessly bringing it all together, with no hiccups - that we know of!!

The day was amazing, everything we had imagined and more. It was so perfect.

Bateman's Barn South Elmham truly is a magical place and because you have freedom to follow your dreams and ideas, it really would work for anyone, whatever style of wedding they might choose.

I love seeing all the post on the Bateman's Barn Instagram from all the other beautiful weddings alongside ours and to always feel part of the family at this very special place.
