Waveney Wedding Collective Wedding fair
This is a heartfelt thanks to some of our 'locals we love' - our suppliers - for the amazing wedding fair which you helped us put together on Sunday 6th May. The energy, creativity and sheer joy you all brought to the day was beyond what we could have hoped for, and here are a few of the messages I have received from couples who came to our fair, we think they speak for themselves.....
"All your suppliers are amazing, talented and so friendly. I never thought planning a wedding was going to be so enjoyable - all my friends who have got married seemed to have found it difficult and stressful.
I am feeling rather pleased that we picked you and your venue and now have access to all those lovely local trusted suppliers... hehe, so excited now can't wait to get started." Jenni and Kevin

"Thanks for suggesting we come to your wedding fair - so useful to actually meet suppliers in the location we are getting married. Debbie and Phil (Yew Tree Farm) were able to guide us through actually what and where things would happen, and we got to try their delicious BBQ. The weather was pretty good too, can we have that on our day as well! Only joking." Nicola and Ben
"We came to your wedding fair yesterday and we fell in love with Bateman's Barn - and we really enjoyed meeting everyone... we felt such a warm welcome. Can’t wait to start planning our day with you and your very helpful suppliers. We had fun chat with the DJ (Music By Design) and the dress shop (Lavender and Jude) is now on our list of places to visit, well my list Sam can't come with me! " Kelly and Sam
"I just wanted to say we had a fantastic time chilling with you all Sunday. We had to literally force Andrew's parents to leave - they were enjoying the music and the sunshine so much.
I can honestly say it was perfect and is making me very excited for the day. I’ve booked some bits with the bunting ladies (Boomting Bunting) who were really friendly.
I have to say that Scintillo (String Quartet) were so good I’ve booked them - something I would never have thought of, so thank you for having the open day. Andrew is still to convince me of a need for a tipi (FireflyTipis) but it’s funny to hear his reasoning." Donna and Andrew
"Thank you for yesterday's wedding fair . We have been to a few but this one was so creative and inspiring, especially the lovely community feel you and suppliers all have with each other.
No need to look any further because I can see we have found the right venue and just need to ask, and you will be able to put us in touch with lots of great people. So excited, hope I’m not going to get annoying!" Emily and Luke

"We just came across the road signs for your Wedding Fair on our way to the beach and decided to pop in and have a quick look round. We ended up staying for a delicious lunch of Fish and Chips (The Fish Hut), a pint of ale in you lovely little bar whilst listening to a fab singer (Band in a Box) and chatting to super helpful florist from Harleston (Fig and Roses) all whilst enjoying the weather in your lovely gardens. We have only just got engaged, but your venue is now top of the list. We'll be back to see you later in the year."
